Pet Home Farewell

At Home Euthenasia based from Herne Bay but covers Kent.

Juana from Pet Home Farewell is available weekdays 8:30am – 8pm and covers some weekends. She provides peaceful, compassionate euthanasia in the comfort of your own home, allowing you and your pet to remain in familiar surroundings.

Qualified in Veterinary Medicine in 1995, Juana has over 30 years’ experience and has worked alongside leading UK specialists at the Queen Mother Veterinary Hospital. She has been established in Kent since 2008 and is a CAETA Certified Peaceful Euthanasia Veterinarian.

If you wish, Juana can also arrange for your pet to be brought back to Cherry Tree following the visit. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or would like to talk through your pet’s needs.

At home or in clinic euthenasia largely based from the purpose built clinic at Cherry Tree.

Laura from Time2SayGoodbye is normally available six days a week to provide peaceful, caring euthanasia at our purpose-built clinic at Cherry Tree Pet Crematorium. The clinic offers a calm, home-from-home setting with unhurried appointments. Laura also provides home euthanasia and travels across Kent to support families in the comfort of their own home.

You will likely first speak with Lorraine, Laura’s experienced and compassionate receptionist, who will gently guide you through the initial arrangements and answer any questions you may have.

Qualified in 2020, Laura trained in both day practice and emergency & critical care in the UK, where she found her vocation in end-of-life care. She is currently completing her CAETA peaceful euthanasia certification and has been honoured with a Petplan Vet of the Year nomination.

Ian Roscoe

Farewell Friends

At Home euthenasia based in Lenham near Maidstone But Covers Kent.

Ian from Farewell Friends is available seven days a week to provide calm, unhurried euthanasia in the comfort of your own home, including evenings and weekends. Being at home allows both you and your pet to remain in familiar surroundings during this difficult time. If you wish, Ian can also arrange for your pet to be brought back to Cherry Tree following the visit.

Qualified in 1982, Ian has over 38 years’ experience in small animal practice and end-of-life care, supporting families both in clinics and in their own homes. He has completed the CAETA certification, using modern sedation techniques to ensure a gentle, stress-free and pain-free passing.

Peaceful Goodbyes

At home euthenasia based from Ashford but covering Kent.

Alex from Peaceful Goodbyes provides calm, compassionate euthanasia in the comfort of your own home for dogs and cats. He is available seven days a week, typically 9:00am – 6:00pm, with flexibility for earlier or later visits when needed, allowing families the privacy and space to say goodbye in familiar surroundings.

Graduating in 2017, Alex has built a broad career across small animal and exotics practice, working in both clinics and hospital environments. Alongside this, he has dedicated much of his work to home euthanasia, supporting families through one of the most difficult decisions they will face. His approach combines professional expertise with patience, respect and genuine understanding, ensuring each goodbye is calm, dignified and pain-free.

Dr Young

Young At Heart Vets

At home euthenasia based from Hastings & Tenterden but covering some of East Sussex & Kent.

Dr Young from Young at Heart Vets is based in Hastings and Tenterden and is normally available Monday to Thursday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, with evening appointments between 6:00pm and 7:00pm. Specialising in calm, unhurried at-home euthanasia, allowing pets to remain in the familiar surroundings they have always known and loved.

Qualified in 1996, Dr Young worked at Blue Cross Animal Hospital in London until 2013, before undertaking cardiology referral and GP work at 1066 Veterinary Centre. She now works as a mobile vet across Hastings and surrounding areas, offering compassionate end-of-life care alongside his wider veterinary services.

Gentle Paws Vets

For home euthenasia mostly evenings and weekends based from Margate & Hythe but covers most of Kent.

Dr Jessica Maguire from Gentle Paws Vets provides calm, compassionate at-home euthanasia, offering families a peaceful and familiar environment in which to say goodbye. She is available up to seven days a week, including evenings and weekends, and is known for her gentle, unhurried approach.

With over 15 years’ experience, Jessica brings both clinical expertise and deep empathy to every visit. She understands the profound bond between people and their pets and is committed to ensuring each farewell is handled with dignity, kindness and respect. Alongside her home visits, Jessica also devotes time to charity veterinary work, reflecting her lifelong dedication to animal welfare.
