After completing her Veterinary Medicine degree in Leon – Spain in 1995, Juana came to the UK to gain experience and expertise. She has had the great privilege of doing an internship at the Queen Mother Veterinary Hospital where she had the opportunity to work alongside some of the best UK specialists in the veterinary field. Juana has a certificate of advanced studies in small animal veterinary internal medicine from the French Veterinary School of Nantes. Been established in Kent since 2008.

Juana has just completed her CAETA certification.  She is a Certified peaceful euthanasia veterinarian.

With 30 years of experience in the veterinary medicine, Juana has a deep appreciation of the powerful bond shared between you and your pet. Juana believes the end-of-life care provided at your home will help you honour this special connection.

Laura from Time2SayGoodbye is normally available six days a week for peaceful and caring euthanasia at our purpose built clinic providing a home from home, relaxed and peaceful setting for saying goodbye in a non hurried appointment here at Cherry Tree Pet Crematorium. Laura graduated from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2020. After gaining experience in day practice for a year, Laura moved to the UK to further develop her skills in emergency and critical care. It was during this time that Laura discovered her true calling—helping owners go through the challenging process of saying goodbye to their beloved pets in a compassionate and dignified manner. After realizing that she could dedicate her career to providing exceptional care for both pets and their owners confirmed that this is the path she was meant to follow.

Laura is currently studying to complete the CAETA peaceful euthanasia certification and while working in the emergency clinic,  was honored to be nominated for Vet of the Year by Petplan.

Young From Young at Heart Vets is based in Hastings and Tenterden and is normally available between Monday and Tursday between 8:30am – 5pm. Young can also do evening appointments between 6pm and 7pm. Young specialises in at home euthenansia which is much sought after being you pet will be in there familiar surroundings which they have always known and loved. These appointments are non rushed as this is a dedicated service offered by Young.

Young qualified to be a vet in 1996 and started working at BlueCross Animal Hospital in London until 2013. Then mostly recently worked at 1066 Veterinary Centre doing Cardiology referral and GP works. I am now working as a mobile vet covering Hastings and surrounding areas, offering routine vaccination, AHC, medical/surgical consultations and euthanasia.

Alex graduated in 2017 and has since built a broad and varied career in exotics and small animal medicine. Over the years, he’s worked in both first-opinion clinics and hospital environments, gaining extensive experience in diagnostics, treatment, and ongoing patient care. Alongside this clinical work, has also dedicated a significant part of his career to providing home euthanasia services, supporting families and their pets during the most delicate stage of life. This combination of medical expertise and experience in end-of-life care allows him to approach each case with both professional competence and deep understanding of what families need at such a difficult time.

 Peaceful Goodbyes

Through Peaceful Goodbyes, Alex offers a dedicated in-home euthanasia service for dogs and cats, designed to give families the space and privacy to say goodbye in the comfort of their own home. he is available seven days a week, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with flexibility to attend earlier in the morning or later in the evening when circumstances require it.

Alex understands that making the decision to let a beloved pet go is one of the hardest choices any family can face. his role is to guide you through that process with compassion, patience, and respect ensuring your pet’s final moments are calm, dignified, and pain-free.
