After completing her Veterinary Medicine degree in Leon – Spain in 1995, Juana came to the UK to gain experience and expertise. She has had the great privilege of doing an internship at the Queen Mother Veterinary Hospital where she had the opportunity to work alongside some of the best UK specialists in the veterinary field. Juana has a certificate of advanced studies in small animal veterinary internal medicine from the French Veterinary School of Nantes. Been established in Kent since 2008.
Juana has just completed her CAETA certification. She is a Certified peaceful euthanasia veterinarian.

Laura graduated from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2020. After gaining experience in day practice for a year, Laura moved to the UK to further develop her skills in emergency and critical care. It was during this time that Laura discovered her true calling—helping owners go through the challenging process of saying goodbye to their beloved pets in a compassionate and dignified manner. After realizing that she could dedicate her career to providing exceptional care for both pets and their owners confirmed that this is the path she was meant to follow.
Laura is currently studying to complete the CAETA peaceful euthanasia certification and while working in the emergency clinic, was honored to be nominated for Vet of the Year by Petplan.

Ian Roscoe Farewell Friends - For At Home Euthanasia
Ian from Farewell Friends is normally available seven days a week for euthanasia in the comfort of your home. Having the euthanasia at home is comforting for you and your pet family member being in familiar surroundings. Ian can also bring family members to Cherry Tree after his visit if you wished. Ian Roscoe also qualified in 1982. He began his life in pet clinical practice in 1976, working as a volunteer in a local practice before going to Vet School. Since graduating in 1982 he has worked continuously in small animal practices. He has amounted over 38 years experience in performing pet euthanasia both in the clinic and in people’s own homes.
In Ian’s experience, many pet owners prefer their pet to be at home, in familiar surroundings, for their last moments. Rather than suffer the anxiety of another visit to the clinic.
Ian has also furthered his quilifications by completing the Companion Animal Euthanasia Training Academy (CAETA) course to utilise modern advances in sedatives to ensure the most gentle, stress and pain-free passing for your pet.

Dr Young - Young At Heart Vets - For At Home Euthanasia
Young From Young at Heart Vets is based in Hastings and Tenterden and is normally available between Monday and Tursday between 8:30am – 5pm. Young can also do evening appointments between 6pm and 7pm. Young specialises in at home euthenansia which is much sought after being you pet will be in there familiar surroundings which they have always known and loved. These appointments are non rushed as this is a dedicated service offered by Young.

Young qualified to be a vet in 1996 and started working at BlueCross Animal Hospital in London until 2013. Then mostly recently worked at 1066 Veterinary Centre doing Cardiology referral and GP works. I am now working as a mobile vet covering Hastings and surrounding areas, offering routine vaccination, AHC, medical/surgical consultations and euthanasia.
